Job Description

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be working closely with the CEO to develop and implement digital and direct marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to lead digital marketing campaigns, optimize performance across various platforms, and contribute to the planning and execution of direct marketing initiatives. This hands-on role requires you to focus on customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue goals while ensuring the efficiency of the marketing team. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing direct marketing strategies such as print media, events, and door-to-door marketing to engage local customers. You will also guide the field marketing team to align local campaigns with the brand's objectives. Conducting market research to identify customer preferences, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in different regions will be essential for developing localized marketing strategies. Regularly suggesting creative marketing ideas and strategies based on market insights and customer behavior will be part of your role. Collaborating with the marketing team to refine and adapt these strategies for optimal results is crucial. Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of field marketing executives to ensure productivity and motivation, delegating tasks effectively, monitoring individual performance, and providing coaching to achieve targets are also key responsibilities. Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to refine marketing campaigns, improve customer experience, and monitor customer satisfaction continuously will be part of your duties. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that marketing strategies reflect customer insights and drive better engagement. Having a basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and the ability to contribute ideas for digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and lead generation is important. The ideal candidate should have an MBA qualification, 5 years of experience in sales in the D2C/Direct Marketing/FMCG industry, and a strong background in various marketing techniques such as Digital Marketing, Traditional Marketing, and data-driven marketing. Effective implementation and execution of marketing and branding ideas to align with business goals and market trends are essential for this role. This is a full-time position in Ernakulam, Kerala, and the expected start date is 01/08/2025.
