As a Two Wheeler Exterior/Plastics/Trims Designer, your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire design lifecycle of two-wheeler exterior, plastics, and trims. Here are the key details of your role: **Role Overview:** You will be required to have sound knowledge of body parts, exterior panels, and trim design. Additionally, you should be proficient in CAD modeling and PLM tools, with hands-on experience in UG-NX/CATIA, Teamcenter, or equivalent software. Your role will also involve conducting FE analysis using tools like ANSYS/HYPERMESH or equivalent software. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ability to multitask by coordinating testing, benchmarking, and dealing with suppliers - Understanding of different types of materials and manufacturing processes used in plastic design - Application of GD&T, DFMEA, and DFM principles - Proficient in plastic/trim part design for various components such as fenders, fairing assemblies, seats, and side panels - Conduct virtual simulations (CAE, FEA) for part design and implement insights gained from them - Stay updated on new technologies in vehicle interior design - Basic knowledge of vehicle layout design, ergonomics, and homologation requirements - Strong communication skills **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Unigraphics-NX is critical for this role - Experience with Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system - Familiarity with FEA tools such as Ansys, Hypermesh, or Nastran - Exposure to design standards and relevant regulations (current and future) This role will provide you with the opportunity to showcase your expertise in two-wheeler exterior design while staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
