Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager – Vendor Development (Casting, Plastic Commodity). The position is based in Rajkot. The role involves managing vendor development, sourcing materials, procurement, and overseeing contract negotiations. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, optimizing procurement processes, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical and Procurement skills to assess vendor capabilities and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Proven expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management for effective vendor partnerships.
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Working knowledge of vendor development processes in casting and plastic commodities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in the manufacturing or agricultural industry is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
