Job Title: Assistant Manager Technical

Department: Technical Services

Reports To: Facility Manager

Job Summary: The Assistant Manager Technical is responsible for supporting the Facility Manager in overseeing technical operations, managing projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising technical projects and activities Support the development and implementation of technical strategies and policies Manage and mentor junior technical staff, providing guidance and performance feedback Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of technical initiatives with business objectives Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for process improvements Assist in preparing and managing budgets for technical operations and projects Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices Contribute to the development of technical documentation, procedures, and training materials Maintain and implement applicable SOPs.

End to end soft services vendor management and regular service delivery assessment.

Training of Technical and soft services staff

Prepare applicable reports and maintain MIS

Maintain inventory of electrical,plumbing,cleaning and toiletry consumables and place timely requisitions.

Support FM for additional tasks as assigned

Participate in client meetings and presentations to address technical inquiries and concerns Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the department. Taking round of the office & carrying out the inspection to ensure office infra is available (plumbing, carpentry, interiors, common areas).

Demonstrate quality of rounds by raising tickets proactively on Corrigo tool and ensure closure with proper action. Ensure reactive tickets pertaining to soft services are closed as per TAT.

Oversee Key management and Parking management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Diploma in EEE or related technical field
  • 6-8 years of experience in a technical role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technical systems, tools, and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in project management software and relevant technical applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant technical field
  • Professional certifications in project management or specific technical areas
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and lean management principles
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in a technical context
