Position Summary

Assistant Manager Call Center Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the call center sales team, ensuring workflow efficiency and agent productivity.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate sales agents to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor real-time dashboards and performance metrics, taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Analyse call metrics, conversion rates, and other KPIs to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with HR and Training teams to support onboarding and development of new agents.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Ensure adherence to sales scripts, quality standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Support the Sales Manager in planning and executing strategic sales campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and managing workforce availability.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a call center sales environment.
  • Minimum 2+ years in a leadership, Team Lead, or supervisory role within a call center.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate sales teams.
  • Familiarity with inbound/outbound sales strategies and KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, call quality).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in call center technologies (e.g., dialer systems, CRM tools).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, insurance).
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and standards.
  • Fluency in

    English & Telugu
