Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager Sales to drive business development and manage key B2B accounts in our Cables division. The incumbent will achieve sales targets, build and nurture client relationships, expand the customer base, and identify new business opportunities within the industrial, institutional, and project-based segments. Key Responsibilities: Achieve assigned sales targets for the cables business in the designated territory. Develop new B2B clients including OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial end-users, and infrastructure companies. Manage relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with internal teams (pricing, technical, supply chain) to address client requirements. Track upcoming industrial and infrastructure projects to pitch cables and related products. Work closely with consultants, electrical contractors. Support dealer/distributor partners in closing institutional and project sales. Provide technical and commercial support for project bidding and negotiations. Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market movements. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular MIS/reports to management. Educational Background & Experience: Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred); MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage. 7-12 years of B2B sales experience in cables, wires, electricals, or industrial products. A strong network within industrial clients, OEMs, and contractors is desirable. Proven track record of handling project sales or institutional clients. Good understanding of electrical cable types, specifications, and applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
