Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager in Sales to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and a solid understanding of the engineering industry. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist the Sales Manager in developing sales strategies and setting sales targets
Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
Train and mentor junior sales team members to help them reach their full potential
Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the engineering industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
