Job Description

  • Ability to do Hazard and Risk Analysis on the work.
  • Give suggestions for functional/administrative/operational control to prevent accidents/incidents.
  • Capture near miss-cases and recommend corrective and preventive action.
  • Monitor and maintain safety standards and PPE adherence at work.
  • Create awareness on Safety and importance of PPE to employees
  • Incident recording, reporting and ensure the counter measure actions are taken on time.
  • Monitoring safety adherence by the third party contractor
Engaged for maintenance or service related work.
  • Responsible to take care of safety related audits, and preparation of records and documents.
  • Identify and eliminate the unsafe actions and unsafe conditions at work area.
  • Support and coordinate with HR team for Internal and External EHS related audit.
  • Build and maintain safety culture between the existing and new employees.
  • Support safety related trainings and prepare training records and reports.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety & high productivity at the workplace
Conduct suitable training and educational programme for the prevention of injuries.
Organize with the concerned departments campaigns, competitions, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain in the interest of the workers in establishing and maintaining safe condition of work and procedure

Requirements

Diploma Industrial Safety from RLI.
8 years of experience
