Role Overview:

Assistant Manager Production (Printing & Converting)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities in the printing and converting department.
Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
Coordinate with the planning and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor and optimize machine performance, manpower allocation, and resource utilization.
Lead a team of operators and technicians; ensure proper training and skill development.
Implement safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.

Key Requirements:

Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
in the
corrugated packaging industry
, specifically in
printing and converting
.
Strong knowledge of corrugation machinery, printing (flexo, slotter, rotary die-cutter, etc.), and post-print processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering discipline preferred.
