ROLE :

Skills
:

Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and inventory control.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings related to valve manufacturing.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess suppliers, materials, and cost structures.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for valve components and materials (e.g., ISO, API).

Experience
:

At least 8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the valve industry or a similar manufacturing sector.
Experience in sourcing materials for the manufacturing of valves, such as metals, seals, actuators, and other valve components.
Proven track record of negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and delivering cost savings.
