Job Description

As an Assistant Manager- Procurement for the health-care vertical, you will play a crucial support role in the Procurement function. Your responsibilities will involve managing day-to-day activities and overseeing the financial aspects of Procurement projects. This includes creating and delivering presentations and analyses to senior leadership, as well as measuring performance effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Create and analyze complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations for Procurement initiatives using data from various sources. - Review monthly cost reports and provide detailed explanations for expense variances. - Prepare and submit journal entries for accruals and adjustments during month-end close. - Assist in developing and implementing strategic processes through data analytics and collaboration across functions to align with organizational objectives. - Conduct data analysis and gather stakeholder/user feedback to drive process improvements proactively. - Regularly communicate strategies and outcomes through recurring reporting to the leadership team. - Manage and mentor team members. - Support commodity managers in activities such as RFIs, RFPs, financial and performance clauses, metrics, and terms negotiation to ensure optimal vendor selection. - Perform post-implementation analysis to identify and address any issues effectively. Qualification and Knowledge Requirements: - Proficiency in procurement management, market research, and process improvement. - Experience in data gathering and benchmarking to support business cases with both quantitative and qualitative data. - Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration, team-building, and project management skills for organizational project support. - Responsible for generating timely and accurate reports. - Understand the intermediate impact of technology on business, services, and processes, identifying technological barriers and maintaining relevant technological knowledge. - Possess strong communication skills and analytical support experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Educational Qualifications: - B. Com / M.Com / MBA Finance Relevant Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in Procurement - Experience in vendor sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and AP processes is preferred.,
