Assistant Manager - Procurement

As an Assistant Manager in Procurement for Healthcare, you will play a crucial support role in the procurement function. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day activities, handling financial aspects of procurement projects, and providing key analysis and presentations to senior leadership. Here is a breakdown of your role and responsibilities: You will be responsible for creating and analyzing complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations for procurement initiatives. Additionally, you will examine monthly cost reports, provide explanations for expense variances, and submit journal entries for accruals and adjustments during month-end close. Your role will also involve developing and implementing strategic processes to support organizational objectives through data analytics and cross-functional collaboration. - Support commodity managers with RFIs, RFPs, financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms, and rebates/penalties to ensure the best bid among various vendors - Conduct post-implementation analysis to identify problems - Manage and develop others - Communicate strategies and results through recurring reporting to leadership - Proficient in procurement management, market research, and process improvement - Experienced in gathering data and benchmarking to support business cases - Strong communication skills - Analytical support experience - Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) In addition to the above, you are expected to achieve results, serve and delight customers, and collaborate effectively with others to excel in this role.,
