Assistant Manager - Procurement

As an experienced professional at Extramarks Education, you will be responsible for managing the company's procurement activities. You should possess a deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management, with prior experience in procuring both IT and Non-IT equipment, software, and items of daily requirement. Candidates who have direct experience working with OEMs and a good understanding of Delhi-NCR markets will be preferred. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of independently leading a team of Supervisors and staff. Your roles and responsibilities will include managing daily purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relations, negotiating contracts and prices, and overseeing the supplier database and purchase records. You will be responsible for ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications, preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, and working to improve purchasing systems and processes. Requirements for this position include a B-tech/BCA/MBA degree, proven experience as a Vendor Manager, and prior experience in an edtech/e-learning space. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software for PO creation is essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent critical thinking and negotiation skills are also necessary for success in this role.,
