Assistant Manager – Pricing(Non-TP)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily rate enquiries and rate offers to overseas agents with same-day
• turnaround.
• Prepare and circulate weekly rate / blended rate promotions to overseas agents.
• Knowledge of FCL Export Pricing to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South
• America, South east Asia etc.
• Review weekly/monthly volume reports and target agents with regular or growth
• potential.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups on FOB sales leads (within 2 weeks of sharing) to
• recover volume using competitive pricing.
• Prepare and maintain own rate sheets for all assigned Countries for sea export Ex
• India.
• Calculate and offer blended rates during peak seasons or critical market periods.
• Conduct short-term and long-term rate negotiations with local carriers as required.
• Share weekly shipment forecasts with carriers at least 2 weeks prior to vessel
• departure and secure space confirmation within 1 working day.
• Maintain strong relationships with local shipping lines.
• Provide weekly booking arrangement guidance to CS teams for RO shipments.
• Work closely with Free Hand Sales to develop best possible pricing solutions for key
• customers.
• Resolve carrier-related issues (space, rates, equipment) on a same-day basis.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of FCL export pricing ex-India
• Hands-on experience with Europe & Middle East trade lanes
• Good understanding of carrier contracts, space management & blended pricing
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset for rate calculation and market comparison
• Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons

Experience & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Ocean Freight Pricing (FCL Export)
• Prior exposure to overseas agent coordination & Shipping Lines / carrier negotiations
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field preferred
