Assistant Manager - PNG Projects

Purpose/Objective

To oversee and execute the development, installation, and maintenance of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) systems within the Navsari region, ensuring alignment with Adani Total Gas’s strategic initiatives in City Gas Distribution (CGD). The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective PNG solutions to industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, supporting the business unit’s mission to provide reliable and environmentally friendly energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Plan, execute, and monitor PNG pipeline installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement PNG systems tailored to industrial, commercial, and residential requirements. - Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess project scope and technical requirements. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, for efficient project execution. - Monitor and enforce safety protocols and standards during all phases of PNG system development. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational PNG systems to ensure uninterrupted service. - Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure high-quality materials and services for PNG projects. - Utilize project management tools to track progress, generate reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders. - Support the GA Head in strategic planning and decision-making for PNG-related initiatives. - Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Technical Competencies

Mechanical Expertise in Gas Distribution Systems,Project Management Proficiency,Project Completion Rate,Operational Uptime

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 4–7 years of experience in project management within the gas distribution or energy sector. - Proven expertise in PNG system design, installation, and maintenance.
