Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager in the Packing Material Store, based in Dera Bassi. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overall inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining a record of packaging materials. Key responsibilities include monitoring inbound and outbound material, coordinating with suppliers and procurement teams, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves overseeing the performance of the team, resolving discrepancies, and providing timely reports on stock levels and usage.

Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory management, including stock tracking, materials handling, and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with cross-functional teams such as procurement, logistics, and production to ensure smooth operations.
  • Knowledge of packaging materials, their usage, and best practices related to storage and quality control.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills for managing stock levels, resolving discrepancies, and creating reports.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership qualities to manage and guide team members effectively.
  • Educational qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging industry would be an added advantage.
