Assistant Manager - Operations

• Ensure compliance with company policies, client regulations, SOW, and EHS standards.
• Negotiate with vendors/subcontractors to secure cost-effective transport services.
• Monitor fleet costs, performance, and operational KPIs to achieve revenue goals.
• Lead and manage fleet partner supervisors, drivers, and ground staff; drive training, safety, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure 100% driver attendance for compliance and tracking.
• Resolve disputes with drivers, staff, or partners while maintaining discipline and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Routing, CSMs, Ops, Finance, Tech, Product) for seamless execution.
• Liaise with customers to manage expectations, reduce delays (FPP/OTA), and address complaints.
• Use transport management systems (Moveinsync, Meta and VET) for tracking, analytics, and decision-making.
• Drive service delivery in BAU and disruptive situations; oversee daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Handle escalations diplomatically and manage risks/incidents effectively.
• Design deployment plans to improve vehicle utilization, increase DCO penetration, and ensure driver/fleet partner satisfaction.
• Strengthen vendor management by ensuring punctual deployment, tracking vehicles, and proactive communication on delays.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Service delivery or Transport Management.
• Good Communication and analytical skills
• Prior experince in Transport Management is mandatory
