Designation- Assistant Manager - Operations

Required Qualification- Preferably IHM and Retail Operations
Required Experience- Min. 5 Years of exp in hospitality industry

Job Responsibility:


  • Responsible for maximising revenues and flow through to GOP-Gross Operating Profit to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA
  • Manages labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow through to the bottom-line profit
  • Works with the Management to manage all sales activities of the property and meet revenue objectives. Activities include setting goals, completing competitive surveys, taking reservations and compiling reports
  • Execution from all the marketing activities from the concerned staffs
  • Promotes 100% guest satisfaction throughout property. Instils the 100% guest satisfaction objective to AM and hourly associates
  • Recruits qualified applicants. Trains employees in accordance with company standards with the help of Human Resources
  • Adheres to all statutory compliances, state and local laws employment related laws and regulations
  • Conducts coaching/counselling sessions; performance evaluations; prepares performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation; conducts terminations along with the Human Resources
  • Mentors and develops Floor Manager; provides learning opportunities by assigning new tasks in all Centre Management responsibilities; evaluates Floor Manager s strengths and weaknesses and provides training and on the job tasks to prepare FM for AM opportunities
  • Manages employee personnel forms, including hiring, performance evaluations, payroll and benefits related information along with Human Resources
  • Conducts coaching/counselling sessions; performance evaluations; prepares performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation; conducts terminations along with the Human Resources

  • Directly manages the Centre staff on a daily basis; supervises the employees on the Property. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail operation with hospitality management
  • Ability to read and speak the English & Telugu languages and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to organise multiple projects
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, POS (Point of Sale) and spreadsheet software
