Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage a team responsible for US residential mortgage underwriting, including reviewing loan applications, conducting credit checks, and making lending decisions.
Oversee income calculation and loss mitigation processes to ensure accurate financial analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to mortgage servicing and collections.
Develop and implement policies to minimize losses through effective risk management strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

8-13 years of experience in US residential mortgage underwriting or a related field.
Strong understanding of US mortgage underwriting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in Income Calculation software (e.g., Loan Origination Systems) is required; knowledge of Loss Mitigation techniques is an asset.
