Job Description

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager Network Security & INOC will lead the Internal Network Operations Center (INOC) team to ensure continuous IT service availability, robust cyber security practices, and seamless IT infrastructure support. This role is responsible for implementing information security standards, improving IT processes, monitoring and managing infrastructure, and supporting 24/7 mission-critical operations across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

IT & Security Operations

  • Lead INOC team to ensure availability, performance, and security of IT services and infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce Information Security & Cyber Security policies and compliance standards.
  • Ensure 24/7 monitoring, incident escalation, and timely resolution of IT service issues.
  • Manage IT equipment lifecycle including user systems, servers, and network devices.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

  • Oversee administration of on-premise data center and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Manage and support Windows & Linux server environments.
  • Ensure regular backups, data protection, and restoration processes.

Network & Security

  • Administer and troubleshoot network devices including firewalls, L2/L3 switches, and security appliances.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and improvements in network security posture.

Compliance & Process Implementation

  • Drive implementation of ITSM, ISMS, SOC2, ISO, and TISAX standards.
  • Ensure audit readiness, documentation, and compliance reporting.
  • Participate in security assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing IT operations team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT security, technology upgrades, and automation projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT services/internal IT/NOC operations.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience implementing standards such as ISO, SOC2, TISAX, etc.
  • Strong experience with Windows & Linux server administration.
  • Working knowledge of VMware in a local data center environment.
  • Proficiency in backup and restoration processes.
  • Experience managing network security devices – Firewalls, L2/L3 Switches.
  • Expertise in managing AWS/Azure cloud environments & O365 administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured troubleshooting approach.
  • Proven experience leading IT support or NOC teams.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and drive technology modernization.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP / CISM / CISA / ISO Lead Implementer
  • CCNA / CCNP or equivalent
  • AWS/Azure Administrator or Security certifications
  • ITIL Certification
