As the Director of IT for our client's India Center of Excellence (CoE), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the IT operations to ensure high availability and performance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the IT infrastructure, NOC operations, hardware/software applications, RAS, and security measures in an agile environment. You will lead the IT operations at the India CoE, ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software applications, and network operations. Managing the Network Operations Center (NOC) will be essential to monitor network performance, resolve issues, and maintain uninterrupted services. Efficient ticket management and issue resolution processes will be under your supervision, along with improving response times and addressing IT support tickets promptly. Procurement, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software will be your responsibility to ensure optimal performance. You will also ensure robust remote access services (RAS) for distributed teams and global operations while implementing and maintaining basic security protocols to comply with global standards. Collaborating with global teams to align IT strategies, tools, and policies across different locations is key, along with developing and implementing IT policies and best practices. Supporting and maintaining operating systems, ensuring compatibility, updates, and performance optimization will be part of your daily tasks. Working in an Agile environment, you will ensure timely delivery of IT services, continuous improvement, and collaboration across departments. Evaluating new technologies and recommending their adoption to enhance the company's IT capabilities will be crucial. Mentoring and managing the IT team to ensure high levels of technical expertise, performance, and growth is also significant. Key Requirements: - B.E./B.Tech/MCA qualification is mandatory. - Minimum 15+ years of experience in IT operations. - Strong knowledge of operating systems, network management, and troubleshooting. - Experience in managing IT infrastructure in a global software product firm. - Problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving issues quickly and effectively.
