Position Title

TX – Design & Planning Lead (Optical)

Experience

6+ years in Optical Transmission Network Design, Planning & Operations

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimization of Access & Backbone networks
HLD/LLD documentation, BoQ preparation, and feasibility analysis
Planning for SDH, DWDM, OTN, PTN, STM-1/4/16/64 networks
Node integration, upgradation, ring restructuring
Incident & problem management, OEM coordination, and change control
Infrastructure upkeep, fault resolution, and service restoration
Automation of manual tasks and SOP creation

Technical Skills

Expertise in DCN IP, Synchronization, and fiber network planning
Hands-on with ECI, Tejas, Huawei, Ciena multiplexers
Tools: MapInfo, Lepton, Google Earth
Exposure to SDWAN, Cloud & Security, Unified Collaboration, Mobility & IoT

Behavioral Skills

Strong stakeholder communication and team coordination
Analytical, assertive, and process-driven
Capable of multitasking and working under pressure

Education

B.Tech / BE in Electronics & Communication (ECE)
