Job Title: Assistant Manager – Merchandiser (Sourcing – Shirting & Suiting)

Location: Bhavani, Erode, Tamil Nadu
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in sourcing/merchandising (Shirting & Suiting)
Education: Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel, or related field

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Merchandising professional to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and production tracking for our Shirting & Suiting division. The role is factory-based in Bhavani (Erode) and requires hands-on experience in textile merchandising operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage purchase orders based on sales forecasts, stock levels, and production schedules.
• Track production progress and update daily MIS reports for review with the Head of Department.
• Coordinate with the accessories team to ensure timely availability of trims, labels, and packaging materials.
• Conduct random inspections and quality audits, and follow up on lab testing of samples.
• Receive and document all incoming samples and finished goods from vendors.
• Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and codes in SCM/SAP and Excel systems.
• Manage rejected pieces by organizing rework and forwarding them to outlet stores.
• Coordinate dispatch and delivery of finished goods to warehouses and retail outlets.
• Reconcile production bills, obtain necessary approvals, and forward for payment processing.
• Support the design and development team with new product launches and maintain sample records for future reference.
