Education: Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel, or related field

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Merchandiser for dhotis, towels, shirting, and silk dhotis in the textile industry. This role involves managing customer orders, tracking production progress, and coordinating dispatch to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end customer orders, ensuring alignment between planning data and actual production execution.
• Issue job orders for weaving, sizing, and processing, and coordinate with all production units.
• Monitor daily production and dispatch status; identify and resolve bottlenecks in order flow.
• Track inward and outward movement of grey fabric and oversee processing stock levels.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly targets by prioritizing pending order meters.
• Maintain customer-wise and month-wise dispatch and balance meter records.
• Evaluate new product samples and collaborate with design and merchandising teams for approvals.
• Update product data in SAP, manage order entries, and resolve system-related issues.
• Monitor inventory across categories and communicate stock status to relevant teams.
• Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management covering orders, production, and delivery status.
