Assistant Manager - Legal

• Candidate will be responsible for end to end legal work of

  East

  region.
• Will be reporting to Head of Legal at corporate office
• Due diligence of property/title documents for proposed commercial premises to be taken by company to open restaurants
• Title Review and Title Clearance with respect to the commercial premises being taken by the organization on rent
• Preparing Letter of Intent (term sheet) upon finalization of commercial terms
• Vetting of Agreements for commercial premises to be taken
• Drafting and Finalization of Leave and License Agreement, Lease Deed, Business Conducting Agreement, Supplementary/Option Agreement, Addendum, Maintenance/Amenities/Service Agreement, Affidavit, Declaration Cum Undertaking, Indemnity bond, Attornment Agreement, Memorandum Of Understanding, NOC etc
• Execution and Registration of Agreements including payment of stamp duty and registration process
• Forming legal opinion on issues cropped up in the organization and coordinating/providing legal assistance to various departments (viz, HR, Operation, Marketing etc.,) within the organization
• Handle litigation including arbitration and court matters
• Issuing notices with respect to legal issues cropped up in the organization and replying to notices received by the organization (viz, labor issues, payment issues, standard weight and measurement issues - legal metrology issues, workmen compensation etc
• Preparing monthly reports
• Tracking of all cases filed by/against the company
• Any other administrative and legal work as may be assigned by the Management
