Job Description

As a Legal Drafting and Vetting professional specializing in Real Estate Agreements, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely drafting, vetting, and standardization of various legal documents. This includes Commercial Leave & License agreements, Lease Deeds, Operating Agreements, Fit Out Agreements, and Common Area Maintenance Agreements. Your focus should be on achieving 100% compliance with the agreed Turnaround Time (TAT) for document review and amendments. In addition to drafting and vetting, you will be required to conduct thorough legal Due Diligence on all prospective lease arrangements. This includes conducting Title investigations, validating OC/CC, obtaining necessary Fire NoCs, and checking local legislation to ensure 100% compliance with legal and commercial aspects before finalizing property deals. Your role will also involve effectively managing all litigation matters and disputes in collaboration with external counsel and internal teams. Providing timely updates and reports on litigation cases to the Head of Department is crucial to ensure no delays in case monitoring. You will be responsible for ensuring 100% adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance across all operations. Providing accurate and well-researched legal opinions on critical issues within agreed timelines is essential. Furthermore, you will review all contracts related to Customers, Alliances, Marketing, Design, and Build Agreements, and Procurement Agreements within the agreed Turnaround Time. Achieving zero backlog in the contract review process is a key performance indicator. Successful liaison with legal consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders is vital to ensuring the smooth and timely finalization of agreements. Resolving 95% of contract-related bottlenecks without escalation is a goal to strive for in stakeholder management. Maintaining 100% documentation accuracy for all legal agreements, ensuring up-to-date records that comply with internal checklists, and implementing periodic audits to ensure documentation integrity and compliance are essential tasks. Continuous process improvement is encouraged, with a focus on identifying and implementing enhancements for legal drafting, vetting, and contract management to enhance efficiency by at least 10% annually. To excel in this role, you should possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in drafting and vetting contracts, settlement deeds, notices, NDAs, vendor agreements, etc. High standards of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly, are also essential for success in this position.,
