Assistant Manager Legal

Role Overview: As a legal advisor, you will be responsible for providing legal support to HR, Employment functions, and verticals across geographies globally. Your role will involve handling labor matters, employee disputes, recovery matters, and providing support in pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, and litigation management on all matters. Additionally, you will provide legal advisory support on various legal matters such as commercial or procurement contractual matters, and criminal matters. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting, reviewing, and revising template service agreements/employment contracts, policies, and related documentation concerning HR and employment matters. - Providing legal advisory services to various HR functions on multiple portfolios including recruitment, operations, employee policies and benefits, termination, lay offs, and exit-related matters. - Offering legal advisory services on Labor law compliance, employee disputes, communications, and HR protocols. - Advising and being a part of inquiry and disciplinary proceedings, providing adequate support. - Advising clients and stakeholders in the Company on pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, negotiations, and litigation matters related to commercial or labor disputes. Drafting communications and liaising with external counsels, police, or regulatory authorities. - Having experience in contracts drafting and review concerning commercial transactions, as needed. Qualification Required: - 5-8 years of PQE in handling HR/employment and Labor matters, as well as commercial contracts and litigations. - Law graduate from a reputed university and qualified legal attorney, enrolled with the Bar Council of India. - Prior domain experience in supporting HR and employment functions, and knowledge of litigation advisory and management is a must. - Legal generalist with experience working on all types of contractual and commercial matters. - Prior experience of working for geos such as USA, ME, APAC is a bonus. - Mix of law firm and corporate experience preferred.,
