Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager Production will be responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, monitoring process parameters, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality, safety, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor process parameters and product quality to achieve desired standards.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Control teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare production reports and manage raw material inventory effectively.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

    .
  • 5–8 years of experience in chemical/process industries such as

    bitumen, emulsion, admixture, paints, or lubricants

    .

Technical Skills

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of

    PLC/SCADA systems

    .
  • Ability to handle shift operations and production planning.
