Job Description

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager Production will be responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, monitoring process parameters, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality, safety, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Monitor process parameters and product quality to achieve desired standards.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Control teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Prepare production reports and manage raw material inventory effectively.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
.
5–8 years of experience in chemical/process industries such as
bitumen, emulsion, admixture, paints, or lubricants
.

Technical Skills

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Knowledge of
PLC/SCADA systems
.
Ability to handle shift operations and production planning.
