Production Manager

Job Purpose:

precast concrete production process

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily

  production activities

  in the precast plant.
• Manage

  raw material planning

  (cement, aggregates, admixtures, reinforcement, etc.) in coordination with the procurement team.
• Ensure strict adherence to

  quality standards, mix designs, and project specifications

  in coordination with QA/QC.
• Supervise

  casting, curing, demolding, storage, and dispatch

  of precast products.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, and material utilization to meet

  production targets

  .
• Maintain

  production records, daily reports, and ERP/SAP entries

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  IS, ASTM, BS, and ACI standards

  relevant to precast concrete.
• Coordinate with

  design, QA/QC, logistics, and erection teams

  to ensure smooth workflow.
• Drive

  continuous improvement initiatives

  for productivity, cost control, and waste reduction.
• Enforce

  safety practices, training, and maintenance schedules

  in the plant.
• Lead and mentor supervisors, foremen, and workers to build a skilled workforce.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mechanical Engineering also considered).
  

• 812 years of experience

  in precast/concrete production, with at least

  5 years in a managerial role

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  precast manufacturing processes, mix design, and equipment handling

  .
• Proficiency in

  ERP/SAP systems, production planning, and reporting

  .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Key Competencies:

• Expertise in

  precast production (beams, slabs, columns, walls, pipes, boundary walls, etc.)

  .
• Strong understanding of

  concrete technology, plant operations, and process optimization

  .
• Ability to manage

  large teams and multiple production lines

  .
• Focused on

  safety, quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency
