QA/QC Engineer - Admixture at Dehgam, Gujarat.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer with a

background in Chemical Engineering and specific expertise in concrete admixtures. The

successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our raw materials, in-process

materials, and finished admixture products meet the established quality standards and

specifications. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability in

the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Raw Material and Finished Goods Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of all

incoming raw materials and outgoing finished admixture products to ensure they

meet the company's quality parameters and relevant industry standards (e.g., IS,

ASTM).

• In-Process Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of materials during the

manufacturing process, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any

deviations from the standard.

• Product Performance Analysis: Perform various tests on admixture products,

including but not limited to, setting time, compressive strength, and workability of

concrete.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality

control tests and analyses. Prepare certificates of analysis (COA) for finished

products and generate regular quality reports for management.

• Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document any non-conforming

materials or products. Work with the production team to investigate the root cause

and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly

calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.

• Customer Complaint Resolution: Assist in the investigation and resolution of

customer complaints related to product quality, providing technical support and

analysis as required.

• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Adhere to all company safety procedures

and guidelines within the laboratory and plant to ensure a safe working environment.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement

initiatives to enhance quality control processes, test methods, and product quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory.

• Experience:

within the construction chemical industry, with a specific focus on concrete

admixtures.

• Technical Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of the chemistry and application of various concrete

admixtures.

• Proficiency in standard laboratory testing procedures and equipment used in

the construction chemical industry.

• Familiarity with relevant Indian and international standards for construction

materials.
