QA QC Manager

Job Purpose:

quality management system

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement

  QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists

  for precast production and installation.
• Supervise quality inspections for

  raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, reinforcement steel, etc.)

  and finished precast elements.
• Monitor

  mix design, batching, casting, curing, demolding, storage, and dispatch

  processes for concrete products.
• Ensure compliance with

  IS 456, IS 9103, IS 1489, IS 383, ASTM/BS/ACI standards

  .
• Maintain

  quality records

  material approvals, inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and calibration logs.
• Coordinate with

  clients, consultants, and third-party labs

  for inspections and testing approvals.
• Conduct

  laboratory and field tests

  (slump, compressive strength, permeability, durability tests, etc.).
• Guide the QA/QC team and production staff on

  quality requirements, safety, and continuous improvements

  .
• Lead

  root cause analysis

  for defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance during

  internal and external audits (ISO/QMS/Client audits)

  .

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  

• 812 years of QA/QC experience

  , with at least

  5 years in precast concrete production.

• Strong knowledge of

  IS, ASTM, BS, ACI codes

  for concrete products.
• Proficiency in

  SAP/ERP, QA/QC documentation, and lab testing methods.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

Key Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of

  precast concrete manufacturing (beams, slabs, columns, pipes, walls, boundary walls, etc.)

• Expertise in

  concrete mix design, durability testing, and reinforcement inspections

  .
• Ability to

  drive zero-defect culture

  and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Strong coordination skills with

  production, erection, and client teams

  .
