Assistant Manager - FinOps

Requirement:

We're looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Finance operations team for a fixed contract. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating processes across banking/ Non-Banking products, maintaining SLAs and handling internal and external escalations. This role will be core to the way we run our business in the most compliant manner while delivering best-in-class experience to our customers. The role offers you an excellent opportunity to work closely with product, operations, Finance, accounting and CX teams and develop cross-functional exposure.

Transaction Monitoring:

• Reconcile Payment Gateway transactions (credits, debits, chargebacks, and refunds) with Bank MIS, Partner MIS and Internal Records, and Identify and Investigate discrepancies.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports, highlighting trends, anomalies, and resolutions. Handling Partner Billing and monthly Book closures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of reconciliation activities for audit and compliance purposes.
• Liaise with payment gateways, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
• Keep an eye on financial transactions to spot any unusual patterns.
• Managing operations of the payment systems, such as checking figures in the reconciliation process for the flow of funds between CheQ and the partners.

Collaboration

• Work closely with different teams to share insights and information.
• Participate in team meetings to learn about emerging trends.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years experience in Reporting, Reconciliation and Accounting (Add-on).
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with advanced skills in MS Excel
• Basic understanding of regulations and compliance standards of the Fintech industry.
• Good to know payment processing flows, card networks, and banking operations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
