Summary: Dispatch support team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of goods or services. Their primary responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing logistics, and providing support to drivers or field personnel. The dispatch support team acts as a central hub, facilitating communication between various stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the Dispatch Manager in overseeing daily dispatch operations.
• Monitor driver schedules, route planning, and load assignments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support in tracking shipments and addressing exceptions or delays.
• Handle escalations from customers, drivers, or internal teams, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
• Train and mentor dispatch staff on procedures, systems, and best practices.
• Support in preparing reports on KPIs such as on-time delivery, route efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation; 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
