ASSISTANT MANAGER - DESIGN

-          Create designs, drawings, and reports for structural projects.

-          Perform detailed calculations regarding load, deflections, and stresses.

-          Have a complete understanding of material strength and its impact on structural design.

-          Carefully examine structures and propose enhancements to improve structural integrity.

-          Optimize designs considering both cost and design efficiency.

-          Proficiency in Staad Pro; knowledge of other structural software, such as E-tab and Autodesk Robot, is preferred.

-          Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit; familiarity with FEM software is an advantage.

-          Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

-          Knowledge of cold-formed structural analysis is essential.

-          Understanding of connection and base plate design for hot rolled and cold-formed sections.

-          Familiarity with International and Indian codes for designing both hot-rolled and cold-formed structures.

-          Experience in designing for seismic resistance and compliance with relevant codes.

-          Good understanding of materials and welding processes.

-          Ability to interpret design inputs such as BOQs, drawings, material specifications, standards, and codes related to design and materials.

-          Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, legal regulations, and standards/codes governing structural analysis of steel and LGSF/cold-formed steel.

-          Understanding the behavior of cold-formed sections/LGSF and developing standard methodologies for window, door, and other loading scenarios.

-          To participate in site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity of the solution provided.

-          To work closely with mechanical, piping, and electrical engineering teams to integrate structural designs

-          Seismic & Environmental Loads: Shall be able to perform the structural calculations for seismic, wind and dynamic loading condition

-          Build comprehensive BOQ for projects, detailing material requirements, quantities steel reinforcement, accessories and other structural elements

-          To prepare technical reports, design calculations, and detailed drawings of Super Structure & Substructure for regulatory approval.
