2. Job Purpose

To facilitate and guide students in achieving their best career objectives.

3. Key Accountabilities

Strategic

  • Responsible for placement services for students.
  • Identify and establish tie-ups with reputable companies/organizations for MITWPU.

Operational

  • Identify potential companies for campus recruitment and industry partnerships through cold calls, personal visits, and effective university presentations.
  • Continuously update the database of companies.
  • Conduct end-to-end campus recruitment processes (CRP) for respective schools, including forming student committees, inviting companies, arranging infrastructure, etc.
  • Accompany students for placement processes, including pool campus drives at other institutions and off-campus drives.
  • Provide career counseling to candidates.
  • Conduct briefing sessions before every campus process to prepare students with details about job profiles, companies, and prospects.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from recruiters, students, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and execute action plans based on feedback and suggestions.
  • Design and implement holistic training programs featuring mock GD/PI sessions, extempore, case studies, etc., to assess student abilities and efficiency.

Financial and Budget

  • Actively participate in budgeting and provide inputs related to placement activities.

Collaborations

  • Build and maintain rapport with industries and corporates for placements, training, and other industry engagement activities.

4. Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • MBA in HR.
  • 5 to 8 years of independent experience handling recruitment functions.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulae) and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with external representation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Proficient in professional email writing.
