We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Category Manager to join our Category Management team. In this role ,you will plan, execute, and own category content, driving the growth and performance of specific product categories. You will talk to and understand buyer and seller insights, helping drive matchmaking between the two to enhance platform engagement. By leveraging data-driven strategies, you will analyze data to plan category specs, pricing, churn reduction, platform traffic, and lead scalability, while driving the innovation agenda to make IndiaMart the go-to platform for B2B transactions. Roles and Responsibilities Plan, execute, and own category content to ensure product listings are accurate, SEO-optimized, and appealing to buyers. Business Development: Ensure best brands, SMEs, vendors, suppliers from across the country are onboarded on marketplace Competitive Quality Catalogs: Drive to acquire good quality catalogs with accurate product prices & specifications, high quality images and hottest seller products Operational Efficiency: Work across operations, part time associates, cross functional teams, product management department to ensure smooth and fast functioning to achieve targets in given time period Develop and maintain a comprehensive category map for different product categories, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation for users Contribute to ideation towards making category pages ideal for both buyers and sellers, such as adding dynamic filters or personalized content Desired Candidate Profile Education qualification - B.Tech Good communication skills Analytical data driven detail-oriented approach Perfect opportunity for highly motivated and dynamic candidates looking to move into online ecommerce industry Key Skills Required Should be an effective communicator with ability to persuade/ negotiate with different team/stakeholders Should be a strong team leader & capable of handling large teams Establish and foster strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders & proven experience leading cross-functional projects Strong numerical and analytical aptitude & experience of using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities
