Assistant Manager Business Development

The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading market development and driving business growth for innovative ceiling solutions in the office segment, including IT/ITES and other sectors. To achieve this, the candidate will build strong stakeholder relationships, secure project specifications, and lead marketing initiatives to create a robust project pipeline and drive segment growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development activities through events, campaigns, and outreach targeting office segments (IT/ITES/others).
• Build and secure customized specifications for ceiling systems in key projects.
• Engage and influence architects, PMCs, developers, and strategic accounts to build business.
• Manage a project pipeline worth ₹10–15 Cr annually, with a target conversion of ₹3–5 Cr per quarter.
• Track market trends and competition; identify 5–7 new business opportunities each quarter.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an MBA (mandatory).
• 4–8 years’ experience in B2B sales/business development, preferably in construction or interiors.
• Strong communication, persuasion, networking skills, and market understanding.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex project stakeholders with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience in office, healthcare, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
