We are hiring for a Senior Leadership role, who is expertise into hard core collection and have rich experience into team handling

Designation

  • Responsible for the entire debt collection strategy and operations of a company, overseeing a large team and managing a significant portfolio of overdue accounts.
  • He will develop, lead, and execute the company's collections strategy and operations.
  • This role involves managing and motivating a large team, optimizing recovery processes, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • The GM will be responsible for minimizing bad debt, improving the overall cash flow, and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance collection efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership -:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive, data-driven collections strategy to maximize recovery rates and minimize losses across all delinquent accounts.
  • Develop strategies for different stages of delinquency, from early-stage reminders to legal escalation for write-offs.
  • Work closely with senior management and cross-functional departments, including finance, risk management, and legal, to align collections strategy with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through the use of technology.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment with overall company goals.

Team leadership & Management with Operational Insight -:

  • Lead and manage a large, multi-tiered collections team, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluation to meet or exceed departmental targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day collections activities, ensuring all processes are efficient and effective for both internal teams and external agencies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party collection agencies, law firms, and other service providers to ensure adherence to policies and performance targets.
  • Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including recovery rates, delinquency percentages, and resolution time
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

Risk and Compliance Management -:

  • Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of all relevant state and federal debt collection laws and regulations,
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure all collection activities are compliant, ethical, and in line with company policy.
  • Conduct regular audits of collection accounts and practices to identify areas of risk and ensure accuracy.

Data Analysis and Reporting -:

  • Analyze collections data to identify trends, forecast potential losses, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Utilize and maintain collections software, CRM systems, and financial reporting tools to track performance and manage accounts effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance and strategic initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.

Customer Engagement -:

  • Ensure collection communications remain professional, empathetic, and compliant with brand standards.
  • Handle escalated collections issues and negotiate payment agreements or settlements for complex cases.
  • Work to maintain positive customer relationships where possible, balancing debt recovery with customer retention.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.

Experience:

  • Industry Experience from Steel/ Rental equipment's/Scaffolding/Building materials/ Construction/Cement industry will be an added advantage
  • Rich Experience in Team Handling & help them achieving their collection targets
