Position Summary: The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the front office to ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth processes, and staff efficiency. This role also involves actively contributing to revenue generation through upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all front office functions including reception, guest services, reservations, and bell desk. Ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out process. Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints efficiently and courteously. Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction through personalized service. Motivate and lead the front office team, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to ensure a seamless guest experience. Maintain accurate records for room availability, guest accounts, billing, and payments. Ensure front office operations comply with hotel standards and policies. Drive room revenue and ancillary sales by actively promoting room upgrades, late check-outs, hotel services, and local experiences. Train front office team in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize average room rate and guest spend. Work with the reservations team and management to implement effective rate strategies and occupancy plans. Monitor guest reviews and feedback to identify areas for service and sales improvement. Act on behalf of the Front Office Manager during their absence. Requirements: Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field. Experience: 3–5 years in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of front office software (WINHMS.)
