Assistant Fashion Designer (Women Wear)

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer (Women’s Wear)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in concept development, sketches, mood boards, and technical sheets.
• Support in fabric research, sourcing, and trims selection specific to women’s wear.
• Coordinate with pattern masters, production teams, and embroiderers to ensure design execution.
• Participate in fittings, garment construction checks, and quality reviews.
• Conduct trend research and prepare reports on silhouettes, colors, embellishments, and global inspirations.
• Maintain sample libraries, swatches, and design records.
• Assist in client consultations and presentations, ensuring smooth communication.
• Collaborate in photoshoots, lookbooks, and brand campaigns when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a designer/assistant in women’s wear, bespoke tailoring, or fashion industry (freshers with internships may also apply).
• Strong sense of creativity, colors, detailing, and garment construction for women’s wear.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD tools (preferred).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Passionate about learning and growing in a fast-paced design environment.
