Job Description

Role Overview: As the Assistant Facilities Manager at Work Dynamics, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the facility's operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will range from managing contracts to maintaining day-to-day operations, including facilities, equipment, M&E matters, housekeeping, and conference rooms. Your strong grasp of the service structure will be essential in handling operating expenditures effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the steward of the facility, ensuring all operations are in top shape - Maintain records related to facility management operations and develop MIS reports - Lead monthly progress meetings in the absence of the operations manager - Train team members on quality policies and procedures - Review and conduct performance appraisals of staff - Advise the client on future maintenance budgets and define terms and conditions for contracts - Run tendering exercises to find suitable subcontractors and make recommendations to the client - Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and assist in closing agreements with vendors - Audit subcontractors on the quality of materials and upkeep of the site Qualifications Required: - College degree - 8-10 years of experience in facilities management - Tertiary qualifications in building management and/or business If you are a facility management professional with the required qualifications and experience, capable of leading a team to success while also being an effective team player, then this role at Work Dynamics is perfect for you.
