Job Description

Role Overview: As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in stewarding the facility by managing various responsibilities, including overseeing contracts, day-to-day operations, maintenance of facilities and equipment, M&E matters, housekeeping, and conference rooms. Your strong grasp of the service structure will be essential in handling operating expenditures efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining all records related to facility management operations and developing MIS reports for the management team. In the absence of the operations manager, you will lead monthly progress meetings. Your duties will also involve training team members on quality policies and procedures and conducting performance appraisals. Key Responsibilities: - Manage contracts, day-to-day operations, and maintenance of facilities and equipment - Develop MIS reports and lead monthly progress meetings - Train team members on quality policies and procedures - Review staff performance and conduct performance appraisals - Advise the client on future maintenance budgets and define terms and conditions for contracts - Run tendering exercises, conduct comparative analysis, and make recommendations on subcontractors - Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and assist in closing agreements with vendors - Audit subcontractors on the quality of materials and site upkeep - Maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, and onsite personnel Qualifications Required: - College degree in facility management - 8-10 years of experience in facilities management - Tertiary qualifications in building management and/or business Additional Company Details: N/A,
