Assistant Facilities Manager Soft - Goregaon Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and coordinating soft facility services (e.g., cleaning, security, reception, catering, waste management, mailroom logistics, and event support).
  
• Liaise with and oversee contractors/vendors to ensure service SLAs and quality expectations are met.
  
• Conduct regular inspections of soft service operations; promptly address issues and escalate as needed.
  
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to implement daily plans and continuous service improvements.
  
• Support emergency preparedness, response protocols, and incident follow-ups.
  
• Maintain and update documentation related to soft services including schedules, performance logs, and incident reports.
  
• Participate in preparing budgets, managing costs, and reporting on KPIs.
  
• Help plan and facilitate soft-service aspects of in-house events (setup, logistics, cleaning, etc.).
  
• Act as a point of contact for occupants' inquiries or service requests; provide timely, courteous assistance.
  
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
  
• Serve as Acting Manager in the Facilities Managers absence.

• Outstanding communication skills

  , both written and verbal, with fluency in the regional working language.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
  
• Customer-focused mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
  
• Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in event coordination or guest services.
  
• Exposure to sustainability initiatives or green facility management practices (e.g. energy conservation, waste reduction).
  
• Certifications in Facility Management (e.g., FMP, CFM, IFMA, ISO 41001).
