Job Summary: The Dispatch & Logistics Assistant Manager supports the Dispatch & Logistics Manager in ensuring the efficient movement of finished goods from the factory to buyers. This role involves coordinating dispatch schedules, handling documentation, liaising with transport partners, and assisting in optimizing logistics operations to meet cost and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and coordinating the dispatch and transportation of finished goods for both domestic and international shipments. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance paperwork. Prepare and manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations. Support communication with freight forwarders, transporters, and courier services for smooth shipment execution. Coordinate with clients logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely deliveries. Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure goods are packed and ready for shipment as per buyer requirements. Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers regarding delivery status. Assist in optimizing logistics processes to reduce costs while maintaining efficiency and compliance. Ensure proper handling and packaging of goods to minimize damage during transit. Help in vendor negotiations and service agreements for logistics providers. Troubleshoot logistics and dispatch issues to minimize delays and disruptions. Coordinate with accounts for verifying freight invoices and cost approvals. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and dispatch management, preferably within the apparel manufacturing/export industry. Understanding of international shipping, customs clearance, and freight forwarding processes. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics software and tracking systems. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in logistics is a plus. Required Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software. Negotiation and vendor management skills. Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills for effective coordination with multiple departments. Knowledge of transportation laws and customs regulations. Time management and multitasking abilities.
