Assistant Director

Role Objective

Support the Director General in executing the Chamber’s strategic agenda, membership growth, events, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen EU–India partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Admin: Assist in implementing board decisions, preparing reports/briefs, and coordinating staff.
• Membership & Business Development: Drive new membership, renewals, sponsorships, and advertisements.
• Events & Committees: Plan and manage events, delegations, and committee meetings; handle logistics, invitations, and follow-ups.
• Liaison: Support engagement with ministries, state governments, embassies, industry leaders, and trade bodies.
• Communication & Branding: Oversee publications, social media, website updates, and ensure brand consistency.
• Research & Policy: Track EU–India trade/investment trends, draft policy briefs, and provide research support to committees.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postgraduate in Management/International Business/Economics.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Chambers of Commerce, Trade bodies,
• Strong networking, communication, and diplomatic skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Application Question(s):

• Chamber of Commerce preference with very good written and communication English & minimum post graduate in economics or management, good understanding of economics, good marketing and managerial skill. Able to generate revenue through membership and sponsorship
