Job Description: Assistant Counselor

Location: [Specify Center, e.g., Malad/Vashi]

Reporting to: Centre Manager

Role Objective

The Assistant Counselor will play a pivotal role in the student recruitment lifecycle. You will be responsible for bridge-building between initial inquiries and final enrollments. Your primary focus will be high-volume outreach, lead nurturing via CRM, and supporting the Centre Manager in closing admissions and ensuring timely fee collections.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Conduct outbound calling on provided leads (database, website inquiries, walk-ins).
  • Effectively communicate Frameboxx’s unique value proposition (VFX, Animation, Game Design, etc.) to prospective students and parents.
  • Target: Consistently convert telephonic inquiries into scheduled physical walk-ins at the center.

2. CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain meticulous records of every interaction in the CRM software.
  • Categorize leads (Hot/Warm/Cold) and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports on call volume, walk-in ratios, and pending follow-ups.

3. Sales Support & Conversions

  • Assist the Centre Manager during face-to-face counseling sessions.
  • Provide students with information regarding course modules, career prospects, and industry trends.
  • Handle primary objections and "warm up" the candidate before the final closing interview with the Manager.

4. Fee Collection & Documentation

  • Follow up with enrolled students for timely installment collections.
  • Ensure all student documentation (enrollment forms, ID proofs, etc.) is complete and filed correctly.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily collection reports (DCR).

5. Center Operations & Support

  • Assist in organizing center events, such as seminars, workshops, and open houses.
  • Coordinate with the faculty team to understand batch availability for new students.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front-desk environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in any stream (Knowledge of the creative arts/VFX industry is a significant plus).
  • Experience: 1–3 years in tele-calling, education sales, or front-office counseling.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi; ability to speak Marathi is an advantage.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Google Sheets is a must) and experience working with CRM tools.
  • Persistence: A "never-give-up" attitude toward following up with leads and hitting targets.
