Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager / Gold Valuer in Surat. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in gold valuation and management, with a strong background in these areas.

Roles and Responsibility

Attend to walk-in customers, address queries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
Conduct gold valuations and accurately identify gold purity.
Properly pack and store gold and gold packets after loan disbursal.
Return gold ornaments to customers after loan closure.
Manage cash (system & physical) during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
Create new CUID in system and modify LOS during disbursement, part release/payments, and loan closure.
Maintain branch registers as per guidelines Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits, etc.
Ensure proper collection and storage of customer KYC documents.
Follow up with customers for timely collection of interest and principal payments.
Provide good customer service at every step while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in gold valuation and management.
Strong knowledge of gold valuation processes and procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Prior gold valuation experience is mandatory.
Experience in managing cash and handling customer transactions.
A graduate degree is required for this position.
