Assistant Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly financial summaries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

GST & Tax Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Reconcile GST input credit, vendor GST details, and resolve mismatches.
• Maintain proper records for GST audits and assessments.
• Stay updated with latest GST laws, amendments, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding GST-related queries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee AP/AR activities including vendor invoice verification, expense checking, and customer billing.
• Track outstanding payments and follow up for timely receipts.
• Ensure tax components (GST, TDS, etc.) are correctly applied and recorded.

Compliance & Audit

• Prepare documentation for internal, statutory, and GST audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation rules, and company policies.

Team Coordination

• Guide and supervise junior accountants and accounting assistants.
• Coordinate with departments for financial data, approvals, and GST inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, ACCA, etc.) preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with hands-on GST compliance and return filing.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, input credit rules, e-invoicing, and reconciliation methods.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
