Assistant Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, as well as experience with accounting software and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
• Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and general ledger
• Prepare budget forecasts and assist in financial planning
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
• Experience of doing accounting entries in ERP/SAP
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
• GST Returns filing & reconciliations
• TDS basic knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks,ERP, SAP, Tally)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer/Vendor Reconciliations & communication
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Knowledge of local tax laws and reporting standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
