Position Overview:

Assembly Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1.Conceptualize, design, and develop assembly automation solutions for automotive and industrial applications.

2.Design

Solid Edge.

Design gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.

4.Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.

5.Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for proposed solutions.

6.Support

7.Ensure adherence to GD&T standards, industry practices, and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.

Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

Hands-on experience in:

Assembly line design (Engine/Battery Pack/Component Assembly)

Gantry and Pallet design

Lifter and Conveyor design

Material Handling System design

Assembly station and tooling design

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and standard machine elements.

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and actuation systems used in assembly automation.

Qualifications:

B.Tech

Proficiency in Solid Edge (mandatory).

Knowledge of automation standards, ergonomics, and safety requirements.

Preferred Attributes:

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual design skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects independently.

Good communication and team collaboration skills.
